Throughout my academic career I have enjoyed working as a tutor because it has allowed me to share my enthusiasm and energy for education with others. I believe that quality of life is greatly improved through a solid education. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at Valparaiso University. I continued my education at North Carolina State University, where I earned a Master of Science. I have tutored various courses in Engineering, Math, and Science. I have experience in working with students from a broad range of ages, grades, and levels. Although I enjoy tutoring a variety of topics, my favorite subjects to teach are Algebra and Trigonometry. Being physically active has always been an important aspect in my life. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, playing sports (I was a college basketball player), and running.
